How Poshmark fees work
Poshmark takes one fee when your item sells:
- Sales under $15: a flat $2.95. On a $10 sale you keep $7.05.
- Sales of $15 and above: 20%, so you keep 80%. On a $50 sale you keep $40.00.
The fee comes off the final order price, which is the price the buyer agreed to, including any accepted offer. Listing is always free. Poshmark's Fee Policy has been in effect since November 25, 2024.
There is no separate payment processing fee. Sales tax isn't part of your earnings: Poshmark credits you the purchase price "excluding taxes" less its fee.
Shipping on Poshmark
The buyer pays for shipping. Posh Post is a flat $6.49 per order for packages up to 5 lbs, and that money pays for the prepaid label, so it isn't part of your payout.
Shipping can still cost you:
- Shipping discounts you offer are taken from your earnings.
- Packages over 5 lbs need an upgraded label: $5.00 for 5–10 lbs and $10.00 for 10–15 lbs. From October 26, 2026, Poshmark takes the extra postage from your earnings if you ship overweight without upgrading.

What changed recently
In October 2024, Poshmark briefly charged a 5.99% + $1–$3 seller fee plus a Buyer Protection Fee. On October 24, 2024, it went back to $2.95 under $15 and 20% above, and removed the Buyer Protection Fee.

Poshmark's current Fee Policy charges 20% from $15. An October 2024 notice in its policy history worded the boundary the other way ("$2.95 for sales $15 and under"), but the current policy and help centre both say $15 is charged 20%.
Do I get the shipping the buyer pays on Poshmark?
No. The $6.49 the buyer pays covers the prepaid shipping label.
Is the Poshmark fee charged on the original price or the offer?
On the final order price, so if you accept an offer, the fee is based on the offer.
