What we measure

We use two analytics tools to see how many people visit and which calculators they use:

  • Google Analytics, run through Cloudflare Zaraz. It records the pages you view, the site that sent you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location that Google works out from your IP address. It also records that a calculator was used and for which platform, such as “Whatnot”. Google Analytics sets cookies (their names start with _ga) to tell new visitors from returning ones.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures how fast pages load. It doesn’t use cookies.

What is never sent

Your calculator inputs (sale prices, costs, shipping and rates) and the query parameters in the page address that hold them are never sent to Google, Cloudflare or us. They stay in your browser: in the address bar, so you can share a result, and in your browser’s local storage, so the calculator remembers your last numbers. Local storage isn’t a cookie and never leaves your device; clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland see a consent banner and can choose whether Google Analytics runs. You can change your choice any time via Cookie settings in the footer. Cloudflare Web Analytics doesn’t set cookies, so it doesn’t need one.
